Summary:

In this role, you will support the successful execution of custom analytics and dashboard projects, working closely with the Engagement Lead and cross-functional teams. You will provide effective project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and alignment between client needs and Vizient's analytics solutions. You will collaborate with technical teams to ensure client requirements are met. You will leverage your expertise in healthcare analytics, strong technical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights for stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Engagement Lead in managing and executing custom analytics and dashboard projects.
  • Work closely with technical teams to ensure dashboard development aligns with client expectations and project goals.
  • Gather and document requirements, meeting with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to define key metrics and insights.
  • Ensure dashboards meet client needs, working with technical experts for data modeling and visualization development, and client feedback is translated into actionable steps.
  • Act as a liaison between client leadership and technical teams, ensuring clarity of deliverables and priorities.
  • Maintain project documentation, including requirements, scope definitions, client requests, and changes, and ensure deliverables are on track by coordinating timelines, tasks, and dependencies.
  • Identify and proactively escalate potential risks, gaps, or roadblocks to leadership.
  • Facilitate client meetings, presentations, and discussions to ensure smooth communication and alignment on expectations.
  • Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support dashboard development and provide additional insights based on client needs.
  • Validate data, identify trends, and troubleshoot discrepancies to ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Work with internal teams to extract and analyze healthcare data from Epic, Vizient Clinical Database (CDB), and other sources to support client discussions.
  • Prepare custom reports, summary metrics, and data-driven recommendations to supplement dashboard work.
  • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and visualization experts to support project execution.
  • Contribute to process improvement and best practices for project management, stakeholder engagement, and dashboard delivery.
  • Assist in reporting and tracking key performance indicators for project success.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree is in Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or Data Science is a plus.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Experience in healthcare analytics, consulting, project management, or business intelligence required.
  • Experience working with large healthcare datasets such as Epic Caboodle, CDB, or similar sources required, Vizient CDB experience highly preferred.
  • Project management skills, including the ability to support complex, cross-functional projects in a healthcare or consulting environment required.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and requirements gathering, ensuring alignment between business needs and technical execution required.
  • Strong experience with ad-hoc data analysis using Excel, SQL, and other analytics tools required.
  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Qlik or other dashboarding tools required.
  • Ability to analyze and validate healthcare quality, operational, and financial data required.
  • Hands-on experience working with the Vizient CDB in a reporting or analytics capacity preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare consulting or project management with data-driven initiatives preferred.
  • Familiarity with Epic, Vizient benchmarking tools, and hospital performance measurement frameworks preferred.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $102,400.00 to $179,000.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
