About the Role Impact you will make As a Product Management Intern at FinThrive, you will be at the forefront of transforming complex data into actionable insights. Your contributions will shape innovative products and strategies, impacting decision-making processes that are critical to our customers. Your work will bridge the gap between data analytics and real-world applications, making a tangible difference in how businesses leverage data for competitive advantage. What you will do
- Conduct market trends analysis to identify opportunities and gaps in the data analytics landscape, comparing our offerings against competitors.
- Assist in scoping machine learning projects by identifying key business challenges, gathering requirements, and collaborating on goal-setting with data scientists to ensure clear project objectives and outcomes.
- Work with designers and the product team to prototype and iterate on data visualization dashboard mockups, ensuring they meet customer needs.
- Help develop and refine sales enablement materials, including narratives, case studies, and demos that effectively communicate the value of our products to diverse customer segments.
- Track and report on key performance metrics to monitor product success and identify areas for continuous improvement.
- Travel required: minimal, limited to a 4-day in-person orientation at FinThrive headquarters in Plano, TX.
What you will bring
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful trends.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of crafting clear narratives and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in market research and competitor analysis.
- A good grasp of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI, and a basic understanding of machine learning concepts.
- Organized and methodical approach to project management, with a knack for prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Polished written and verbal communication skills.
What we would like to see
- Educational background or experience in product management, business analytics, computer science, or closely related fields.
- Experience with productivity and design tools, including Excel for data analysis and Figma for digital design.
- Demonstrated skill in crafting effective presentations and narratives that convey complex information in an accessible manner.
- Previous involvement in collaborative projects, preferably in settings that require cross-functional teamwork.
- A customer-oriented mindset, focused on understanding and innovating solutions to meet user needs effectively.
