Department Summary As part of the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences, we offer undergraduate (i.e., B.A. and B.S. Majors in Psychology) and graduate programs (i.e., PhD in Behavioral Sciences, Clinical Psychology, and Counseling Psychology). Our Clinical and Counseling programs are APA accredited. The UNT Department of Psychology includes ~38 faculty members, over 3,000 undergraduate majors and approximately 110 graduate students. Position Overview University of North Texas (UNT) invites applications for Faculty Lecturer position to join the Department of Psychology and contribute to our robust undergraduate program. Responsibilities include teaching an equivalent of four courses face-to-face (or online) and serving on faculty committees, as appropriate. Minimum Qualifications Ph.D. in Psychology or a closely related field from an accredited program. Preferred Qualifications Demonstrated excellence in teaching face-to-face and/or online courses. Required License/Registration/Certifications Work Schedule: varies based on assignment Driving University Vehicle: No Security Sensitive: This is a Security Sensitive Position. Special Instructions: Primary location on Frisco campus. This individual would teach at least 1 class each semester at the Denton campus to maintain a connection with the department.
