University Centers and Events (UCE), provides quality programs, services, and facilities that enhance the educational experience and create a community for students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests. We assist students to become good citizens of a global community, prepared to function in a diverse world. Position Overview This position is designed to provide day to day oversight over the operations of the Coliseum and Gateway Center, including, but not limited to, personnel matters, facility maintenance and upkeep, program deployment, record keeping, budget management, and revenue generation. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in related field and five years' of professional related experience; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Extensive knowledge of event planning, event management, and event implementation. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships. Ability to supervise, train, and plan work of subordinates. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Skill in use of computer, Microsoft office and/or other software. Preferred Qualifications Masters Degree and five years event management and supervision experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience with event management and space diagram software. Excellent customer service skills. Experience and understanding of facilities management.
