The Community Liaison Specialist plays a critical role in developing and enhancing strategic partnerships across the University and the City of Fort Collins in order to foster positive relationships between students and community members residing in Fort Collins neighborhoods. The position is responsible for focusing on collaborative efforts between the City and CSU involving problem-solving, communication augmentation, program development and management, and regular interaction with students, residents, and University and City staff. The position works on enhancing the town-gown partnership at the local level, focusing specifically on neighborhood engagement efforts, and engages in national and international conversations and partnerships around town-gown best and next practices.
