Compensation Range:20.00 per hour Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location. Job Purpose We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Interns to join our team for summer internship or semester-long internship]. Under the direction of a staff engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in a variety of engineering tasks, contributing directly to real projects. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to practical applications and develop valuable skills in a professional setting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Create site drawings using Visio and AutoCAD. Develop data tables for assemblies, including labor rates and piece parts. Generate assembly drawings using Visio, Solid Works, and AutoCAD. Prepare and maintain material lists. Conduct site walks to gather dimensions and define scopes of work. Perform engineering calculations related to electrical circuits, heat transfer, and structural analysis. Organize and maintain data for use by AI tools. Participate in the presentation of project data to internal and external clients. Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or related field). Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio. Proficiency in MS Office Suite software. Experience with Salesforce and Chat GPT preferred. Strong understanding of engineering principles and concepts. Ability to perform engineering calculations. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Detail-oriented and organized. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to travel to project sites.
