Compensation Range:20.00 per hour

Compensation may vary based on applicant's work experience, education level, skill set, and/or location.

Job Purpose

We are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Interns to join our team for summer internship or semester-long internship]. Under the direction of a staff engineer, you will gain hands-on experience in a variety of engineering tasks, contributing directly to real projects. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to apply your academic knowledge to practical applications and develop valuable skills in a professional setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Create site drawings using Visio and AutoCAD.
  • Develop data tables for assemblies, including labor rates and piece parts.
  • Generate assembly drawings using Visio, Solid Works, and AutoCAD.
  • Prepare and maintain material lists.
  • Conduct site walks to gather dimensions and define scopes of work.
  • Perform engineering calculations related to electrical circuits, heat transfer, and structural analysis.
  • Organize and maintain data for use by AI tools.
  • Participate in the presentation of project data to internal and external clients.
Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, or related field).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Visio.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite software.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Chat GPT preferred.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and concepts.
  • Ability to perform engineering calculations.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to travel to project sites.

  • This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
