System Engineer Level 6 Position Summary
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a highly experienced System Engineer Level 6 to support mission-critical operations. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in systems engineering, providing leadership and technical expertise across key process areas in ISO/IEC 15288 standards. This position plays a pivotal role in advancing enterprise capabilities through complex engineering solutions.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in one or more Process Areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Approve delivery of work products of all Process Areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288.
  • Plan and develop engineering projects with unique or complex aspects that impact major capabilities of high priority to the enterprise.
  • Independently resolve important engineering issues requiring the use of advanced technology.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Top Secret/SCI with Polygraph
  • US Citizen
  • A Master's degree with eighteen (18) years of system engineering experience
  • ORa Bachelor's degree with twenty (20) years of systems engineering experience in a Qualified Engineering Field (Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university
  • ORa High School Diploma or GED with twenty-four (24) years of systems engineering experience.
Salary Range
$225,000 - $247,000
This pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of specific compensation or salary. When extending an offer, DarkStar Intelligence considers various factors, including (but not limited to) the job's responsibilities, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, market data alignment, applicable bargaining agreements (if any), and other relevant laws.
