Job Summary

The Full Stack Engineer works on the programming development of websites, web applications, and emerging platforms for the College of Business - from assisting user interface (UI) patterns to back and front-end deployment. Provides breadth between disparate User Experience (UX) development processes and helps guide decisions on technical strategy, architecture, tools, and utilities with clients.Designs and builds user-friendly, high-performing websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Applies latest UI/UX
principles to create visually appealing experiences that enhance lead generation and ROI. Translates wireframes into functional products, debugging issues, integrating APIs, and ensuring responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility. Bridges design and development with strong coding, problem-solving, and collaboration skills. Utilize Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to generate reports, track user interactions and optimize website performance.

  • Develops and maintains College of Business websites using HTML5, XHTML, XML, CSS3, and JavaScript. Implements and integrates APIs to support dynamic website functionality. Ensures ADA compliance and adherence to web accessibility standards to provide an inclusive user experience.
  • Generates and analyzes reports using Google Analytics (GA) and Google Tag Manager (GTM) to track website traffic, user behavior, and the performance of specific website sections, campaigns, and marketing efforts. Provides insights to optimize user engagement and digital strategy.
  • Demonstrates a strong understanding of user experience (UX) principles and development processes. Leads or contributes to writing high-quality code using modern techniques, tools, and frameworks.
  • Requires excellent understanding of the user experience and process.Leads or assists in developing quality code using cutting-edge techniques, tools, and utilities.
  • Troubleshoots technical and non-technical issues related to the College of Business' websites and marketing efforts.
  • In collaboration with departmental leadership, carries out various ad-hoc projects as necessary.
  • Researches, tests, and implements new techniques, frameworks, and utilities to enhance website features or functions.
  • Develops emails and other marketing communications, including electronic newsletters, and schedules campaigns for distribution.
  • Assists in administering the College of Business events calendar, including editing and approving events and providing support to staff as needed.
  • Tracks, reports, and analyzes website analytics and campaigns. Installs, configures, and analyzes performance benchmarks.
  • Interprets educational media/communication administrative rules and policies and recommends new and improved programs and/or technologies to effectively manage educational media/communication administration.
Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science with three (3) years in a related position; OR seven (7) years in a related position; OR an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of web design best practices, ADA Compliance, W3C Standards.
  • Proficiency in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
  • Experience with search engine optimization and latest trends in organic and paid SEO.
  • Basic understanding of SalesForce.
  • Proficiency in Email Service Providers (ESP) software and best email.
  • Knowledge of email marketing services such as MailChimp.
