Think is seeking an organized, driven, and dependable individual for a Mortgage Closer. As a Mortgage Closer, you will play a key role in helping our customers purchase their dream home by accurately and efficiently preparing and processing loan closing packages and building and maintaining knowledge of various mortgage products and processing documentation.

Working behind the scenes, you will make a significant impact on the customers you serve and the team you support daily. You will use strong attention to detail to ensure loan packages are properly assembled, and that closing disclosures, signatures, and statements are verified and obtained in a timely manner.

In addition to organizational skills, an ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills needed to collaborate and effectively partner with Think Staff and customers to answer questions related to closing requirements, ensure signatures are received in appropriate timeframes, and troubleshoot issues in the electronic signature system.

Additional responsibilities include:



  • Ensure that mortgage loan files contain proper loan documents, correct fees, and closing instructions for the title companies
  • Answer questions regarding closing requirements
  • Prepare initial closing disclosure for customer signature
  • Support customers and coworkers by troubleshooting issues with the electronic signature system
  • Prepare and balance closing fees with title companies
  • Prepare wire request based on request from Mortgage Advisors and forward to Mortgage Processors
  • Maintain knowledge of various mortgage products and services and how this impact closing packages
  • Maintain familiarity with mortgage documents, particularly purchase agreements and title work


Education and Experience Requirements



  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent and 1 year experience in banking, finance, accounting, or real estate OR Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance or related field
  • One year mortgage lending experience preferred

Compensation: $28.62/hour, non-exempt
