*Description*
* Manage underwriters to ensure mortgage loans are underwritten following proper guidelines * Ensure team members are fully trained and current on company's philosophy and policies/procedures * Manage and review day-to-day tasks escalated by team * Conducts underwriting review process in a manner designed to minimize the company's risk while employing problem resolution techniques in approving loans * Responsible for the training, coaching and supervision of all underwriters within the associated interpretation and application of all company overlays and agency requirements * Evaluate the structure of the Underwriting team and plan for continuous improvement in efficiency and effectiveness * Provide a consistent approach to new hire training of underwriters and peer managers *Skills* FHA guidelines, risk assessment, USDA loans, Underwriting, management skills, Encompass, DE underwriter *Additional Skills & Qualifications* 10 years RECENT experience with FHA, VA and USDA loans DE & SAR designation preferred *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
