Inventory Control Clerk I

Tracks inventory levels to ensure that all products are in stock and available for distribution in the warehouse.

• Start time 10pm
• Weekends required

Essential Job Functions:

• Ability to be flexible with schedule to cover other inventory functions.
• MHE experience preferred.
• Ability to spend time in freezer and cooler.
• Strong computer skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Good analytical and mathematical skills.
• Meet the positions physical demands, up to 65lbs
• Conduct daily location cycle counts on fresh chicken.
• Research, code and communicate out of stocks.
• Track down late loads and produce shortages.
• Provide daily chicken sheet by route for the warehouse.
• Manage inter-center transfers.
• Research inventory discrepancies.
• Order daily produce/fresh chicken.
• Review all purchase orders for proper quality assurance compliance.
• QA calls and spreadsheets on short shelf-life items.
• Cross train to cover other areas of inventory (Ship confirm & cycle counts) to cover vacations.
• Research and correct date reports.
• Invoice/Ship Confirm early dispatches.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Maintains accurate inventory levels and ensures that inventory is present and ready for use.
• Works with internal teammates to ensure solid understanding of customer demands and needs.
• Files claims when defective goods are discovered.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 or more years work experience, preferably in the distribution industry
• Experience with Microsoft Office systems
