Description GAI Consultants is seeking an Associate CAD Operator for support of Substation projects. This position requires working with engineering and other technical subject matter experts in all aspects of electrical substation and protections & controls design services. General Characteristics Follows Project and Task Manager toassemble drawings Minimum Years of Experience 0 Years of Experience Education Associate Degree from an accredited Technical School Technical Responsibilities Basic 2-D line work and text edits. Plot and create PDF drawings. Perform red-line edits.Follows basic QA/QC procedures. Assist with general office function such as printing and folding drawings Project and Task Management Responsible for personal task management and adherence todeadlines and scope Management Responsibility No Management responsibilities Close supervision on work assignments Communication Skills Possess basic oral and written communication skills. interacts effectively with other staff.
