Intralox, L.L.C. located in Hanover, MD is looking for a new Test Engineer on our innovative Development team. The Hanover location is headquarters to our innovation in conveyance equipment and supports product releases to our global customers. The development team is responsible for all phases of innovation from ideation to full product release. To achieve this the test engineer is responsible for validating all theoretical performance requirements as well as equipment robustness and durability. It is the responsibility of the test engineer to develop a multifaceted test plan that is efficient and thorough and to provide documented data to the engineering team so that the equipment can be properly utilized in our customer's plants for years to come. This role will be focused on the Activated Roller Belt (ARB) Equipment space.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and execute thorough test plans and document all results in a clear and organized report which can be shared with and comprehended by all team members from engineers to account managers
  • Execute testing in support of many teams, including Development Team, Systems Integration Team, Market Leading Team, Design and Engineer to Order Teams (ETO/ DTO)
  • Maintenance of database of historical documentation of testing results.
  • Develop jigs, fixtures, softwarae, and processes that strategically increase testing capabilities and efficiencies
  • Review and collaborate with teammates on test plans and test reports
  • Support, develop and promote modular plastic belt and equipment through application specific testing.
  • Provide 2D/3D design support to design engineer team for design of new test equipment and products for test/prototype applications.
Requirements:
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
  • 0-2+ years of experience in mechanical or testing engineering.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, Proactive attitude, with attention to detail.
  • Proficient with hand tools.
  • Goal oriented team player.
  • Excellent computer skills with some exposure to 3D CAD (Inventor preferred)
  • Travel may be required up to 10-20% of the time and weekend work when needed
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in the conveyor or product handling industry
  • Experience in a test engineering role

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans
Salary Range $66,000 to $168,600.
