Technical Partner Enablement Trainer

As a senior member of the Partner Technical Enablement and Training team, Technical Trainers are required to assume a leadership role within Technical Enablement and through their extensive experience provide valuable insight into the design and delivery of training materials and toolkits. This position delivers technical enablement training for Fortinet partners. As part of delivering enablement assets to partners, you will also have the opportunity to design and develop custom content for specialized engagements.

As a Technical Partner Enablement Trainer, you will:



  • Work with various stakeholders to determine ideal use cases and solution benefits to be used in developing content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to assemble and deliver key information.
  • Clearly communicate security concepts and solutions through written word and the development of hands-on labs.
  • Position the value of specific security solutions from both a technical and business perspective.
  • Prepare and validate virtual lab exercises to reinforce learning objectives.
  • Travel up to 50% travel to partner enablement road shows, training events and team meetings.


We Are Looking for:



  • At least 3 years' experience in technical training or course development preferred
  • At least 5 years' experience in networking and security
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Strong technical writing and visual media skills.
  • A Self-motivator who delivers results with minimal supervision.
  • The ability to quickly analyze and learn new technologies.
  • Expertise in a variety of network security technologies such as NGFW, ATP, Secure Access, and Cloud Security.
  • Expertise in a broad range of networking technologies including TCP/IP, Dynamic Routing, Wi-Fi, authentication, and application layer protocols.
  • Expertise in both Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, VMware ESXi, Proxmox, and KVM.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, and JSON API.
  • Experience with Brainshark, Camtasia, or other screen casting tools beneficial.


Good To Have:



  • FCP ( Fortinet Certified Professional) or higher certification is desirable
  • Other technical certifications will be considered an asset
