Payroll Processor

Looking to become part of a large team? Our Wisconsin based company is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Payroll Processor to join our payroll department. This full-time role is responsible for calculating payroll for multiple dealerships, including hourly, salary, and commission-based pay. The position involves working with reports from various software applications and Excel spreadsheets, posting payroll to the general ledger, reconciling payroll-related schedules, and assisting with HR functions such as new hire onboarding and employee inquiries.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for multiple dealerships, including commission-based and flat-rate pay structures.
  • Utilize various software applications and Excel spreadsheets for payroll calculations.
  • Post payroll to the general ledger and reconcile payroll-related schedules.
  • Assist with HR functions, including onboarding and responding to employee inquiries.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive payroll data.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in payroll processing, with a strong understanding of commission-based pay (experience with technician flat-rate pay is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Excel and strong mathematical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Basic accounting knowledge is helpful.
