In this role you'll make an impact by: Supporting the fermentation lab by preparation of media, routine sampling, tank set up and tear down Performing equipment maintenance and cleaning Following protocols and work assignments that are semi-routine in nature where ability to recognize deviation from accepted practice is required. Recording observations made over the course of the fermentations and checking for compliance with the conditions as specified in the experiment plan. Minimum Job requirements: Have a High School diploma with a minimum of 2 years' related experience or have a related associate degree (biological sciences, chemistry). Experience with lab work and with practical aspects of microbiological and or bioprocessing work including aseptic technique Have exceptional reliability, high motivation, and good collaboration skills. Have strong attention to detail along with excellent written and verbal communication skills Have a safety mindset when performing all tasks Be willing to perform a hands-on operational role involving routine work, some of which is physically demanding.
