Job Summary

Are you ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment? We're seeking a dynamic and motivated Production Supervisor to help lead our team and drive operational success. In this role, you'll work closely with the Production Manager to oversee production and packaging activities, ensuring we meet our goals for safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency. You'll play a key role in developing our workforce and improving plant performance while guiding your team to new heights.

As a Production Supervisor, you'll be at the forefront of a thriving manufacturing operation, where your leadership will inspire and motivate employees to deliver top-tier results. Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Champion safety by always maintaining and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Lead by example with impeccable housekeeping practices to create a clean, organized space for everyone.
  • Drive operational excellence by leading Coordinators to optimize efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Manage daily work schedules for the shift to keep production on track.
  • Ensure that quality standards are consistently met by eliminating sub-par products.
  • Resolve any discrepancies between items produced and the scheduled plan, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Assist in key processes such as receiving batches into SAP and tracking labor both physically and systematically.
  • Collaborate with the team to meet production schedules and streamline work procedures.
  • Motivate your team by fostering a positive work culture, resolving conflicts, and encouraging engagement.
  • Provide leadership in managing performance, coaching employees, and developing future leaders.
  • Help drive continuous improvement through innovative suggestions to improve methods, equipment, and overall product quality.
  • Work with management to coordinate interdepartmental activities and align everyone towards shared objectives.
  • Uphold company policies and make sure your team is aligned with the values of the company.
  • Take on additional projects to improve processes and make an even greater impact.


Education and Experience Profile

  • A Bachelor's or Associate Degree in Manufacturing or equivalent experience in manufacturing management.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a track record of driving results.
  • Preferably, experience in Consumer Product Goods (CPG) manufacturing.
  • A passion for continuous learning and development, and a proactive attitude toward achieving production goals.

Required Skills

Supervisory Responsibility

Directly supervises 30-45 hourly employees in the production department.

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsible for training of hourly workforce; assigns and directs work, appraises performance, rewards and engages employees, executes disciplinary procedures, addresses and resolves employee issues and concerns.

Recommends temporary employees for full time hire.

Work Environment

This role is in a manufacturing plant.

Expectations are onsite Monday - Thursday in a production environment.
