The Core Experience team at PitchBook is on a mission to revolutionize how investors and private equity professionals discover and interact with data. We're looking for curious and ambitious individuals who think big and are excited to tackle challenging problems. At PitchBook, you will be at the forefront of understanding how our users interact with our search products and will be the data stewards that help us identify ways to improve our search experience. This is your chance to dive into impactful projects that drive smarter investment decisions and make a difference.

As a Product Management Intern on our team, your primary focus will be to ensure the accuracy and reliability of usage analytics and transform data insights into recommendations that influence product direction. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and key stakeholders, conducting quality assurance checks on usage analytics, developing reports, and forming hypotheses about user behavior based on the data gathered.

Our Summer Internship Program is a full-time opportunity (40 hours per week) from June 2nd to August 8th 2025.

Please note, at this time PitchBook does not provide relocation assistance for our internships.

Primary Job Responsibilities:



  • Quality Assurance (QA): Conduct audits of usage data to identify inconsistencies or errors in analytics tracking and reporting. Collaborate with engineering and product teams to implement fixes
  • Usage Analytics Reporting: Build and maintain usage dashboards and reports. Generate weekly and monthly summaries of user behavior trends, highlighting significant findings and potential implications for product decisions
  • Hypothesis Formation & Validation: Collaborate with product managers to develop hypotheses about user engagement or product feature adoption. Use data insights to confirm or refute assumptions, enabling data-driven recommendations for product enhancements
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requested



Skills and Qualifications:



  • Currently enrolled as a junior in a higher education program (college or university) required: Business, Computer Science, Data Science, and related majors preferred
  • Eagerness to learn the principles of product management and how analytics inform product decisions
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for detecting data inconsistencies
  • Ability to communicate analytical insights in a clear and concise manner



*To be considered for the intern position, applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Compensation



  • Annual hourly rate: $25/hour



Working Conditions:

We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that it's helpful to have some flexibility to work remotely. Most roles work in the office 3+ days/week, and some are expected to work in the office 4-5 days/week. The current expectation for this role is that you are working in the office 5 days/week and that you are in the office full-time during the training period, for which the length varies by role. During an initial phone screen, the team will discuss expectations for this specific position.

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
