Credence has a proposed effort for an upcoming contract for a Policy Analyst.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Conduct thorough research on policy issues, gather data, and analyze information to understand the current state of policies and their impact.
  • Develop and propose new policies or modifications to existing policies based on research findings and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with federal acquisition policies and regulations, and integrate these policies into relevant systems.
  • Interact with decision-makers, specialists, and experts in related fields to gather insights and feedback.
  • Effectively communicate complex technical material or issues to both specialists and non-specialists, facilitating the formulation of decisions.
  • Prepare clear and detailed documentation to support efficient resolution of policy-related issues.
  • Assess the political and institutional environment in which decisions are made and implemented.
  • Provide training and documentation to teams on policy-related processes and procedures.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations and/or Title 2 Code of Federal Regulations applicable to the IAE portfolio of systems
  • Experience with connecting statutory and regulatory policy to the functionality in SAM.gov and FPDS.gov.
  • General Service Administration (GSA) experience highly preferred
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with relevant software applications such as word processing and spreadsheets
  • Minimum 2 years experience as policy analyst, government contracts manager, or related field
  • Bachelors degree in an applicable discipline
  • Required to have US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Clearance if required.
