Summary: Reporting to the Cloud Operations Director, the Cloud Billing Analyst (CBA) will primarily be responsible for billing and reporting activities with accurate updates relating to usage reporting, monthly billing, and funding balances. CBA will also provision/transfer customer accounts and provide external and internal customer access for a sub-set of customers. These tasks may require direct interaction with Government customers and the Four Points' Operations and Sales teams. Given the importance of working closely and effectively with customers, partners, and peers, the CBA will demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. The CBA's ability to prioritize workload and manage deadlines will also facilitate success.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Collect CSP invoice documents and detailed billing reports as needed
- Verify CSP charges and work with CSP to resolve billing discrepancies including tax errors
- Calculate Customer monthly bills
- Prepare monthly usage reports
- Track contract funding balances and billing periods of performance
- Participate in post-award kickoff meetings
- Cloud account administration to include account creation, account transfer, IAM setup, troubleshooting
- Set up, organize, and maintain all monthly billing files to include Microsoft Teams collaboration site
- Conduct periodic reviews of CSP accounts to ensure proper setup and modify settings as CSP processes change
- Candidate will acknowledge and participate in annual ethics and security training provided by Four Points.
- Candidate will review, acknowledge and participate in any US government and regulatory security trainings periodically as required in their role.
- Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Ability to satisfactorily complete a Microsoft Excel skills assessment
- Excellent math skills for basic financial analysis and reporting
- Strong communication skills for working directly with customers and partners
- Ability to engage customers and partners at the appropriate level
- Ability to obtain AWS Cloud Practitioner certification within 180 days of employment and recertify when needed
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Demonstrate an ability to manage and prioritize workload to meet important deadlines (including our SLAs with our customers) while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Ability to learn and understand basic cloud technology concepts as it relates to customer's utilization of cloud as reflected in their usage reports and bills
- Ability to understand basic contract terms and conditions related to contracting for cloud
Education/Experience:
- Associate degree in related field and/or
- 3+ years of experience and/or training, OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
- Training and experience in cloud offerings, contracts management, and program management, highly desirable.
