Medical Receptionist - Ambulatory Surgery Center Raleigh, North Carolina Pay From: $18 Per Hour MUST: 3+ years of experience in specialty/private medical office practice Experience checking patients in and out Ability to process referrals Verifying insurance Ability to assist with inquiries Strong-EMR experience Strong scheduling experience Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment DUTIES: The duties of the Medical Receptionist include but are not limited to the following: Answer phone calls Respond to inquiries Room patients Obtaining pre-authorizations and pre-certs on various procedures Schedule appointments Respond to inquiries Process referrals Forward calls to appropriate contact and take detailed messages Enter and update patient information into EMR Provide customer service Provide office support as needed Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
