Job Title: Shipping/Receiving Spec Location: Smithfield PA 15478 Duration: 6+months assignment with possible extension Shift Schedule: 1st shift; 7-33o roughly Pay Rate: $26/hr. on W2 without benefits Job Description: Completes initial verification for identification and damage on incoming/outgoing shipments. Processes and confirms receipt/shipping documentation for internal/external customers. Processes hazardous goods in accordance with DOT requirements. Validates Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for incoming/outgoing chemical shipments. Maintains inventory of shipping supplies. Word, Excel, Outlook. All active projects. Shipping/receiving/warehouse functions. helping package items for customer. Picking up labels in the database. Accepting delivery. Logging into access database. Opening to verify damage and that they got what they ordered. Processing receipts into inventory systems. pulling parts for kits from inventory. Creating kits. Putting accepted stock into inventory location. Physical demands (if any): Will be on their feet most of the day. Need to be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Education / Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).
