How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Reporting to the CFO, the Accounting and Treasury manager is responsible for monthly closing and reporting of results and partners with Operations control team on re-forecast and Target Process. This role will support day to day accounting and treasury activities of E&C Americas business. This role manages up to 5 direct reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Provide timely, accurate and reliable business financial performance information and minimize risks, protect assets, ensure accuracy of company records.

* Oversee adherence to policies, rules, and regulations for E&C Americas.

* Report directly to the Chief Financial Officer for E&C Americas.

* Manage up to 5 accounting clerks, and personnel, and be responsible for day to day and monthly accounting activities including Month-end close and reporting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Invoicing and Balance sheet reconciliations.

* Oversee accounting processes and procedures and ensure compliance with internal controls.

*Lead the team to ensure proper support and alignment with E&C Global finance activities.

* Work on improvement and optimization through C-IMP tools and techniques for financial processes.

* Provides production cost accounting and month end closing support for the E&C Turbo manufacturing organization.

* Responsible for Intercompany reconciliations.

* Manage internal and external audits.

* SAP Key User, includes taking an active role in supporting the ALIGN project Treasury.

* Manages the treasury function within the E&C Americas offices.

* Support the legal/sales/project teams in obtaining bank and possibly Parent Company guarantees with the local hub Treasurer (includes letters of credit): if necessary, prepare applications and manage bank guarantees and corporate guarantees.

* Devise currency hedging schemes in coordination with the global treasury during the contract

acquisition phase: Hedging instruments, costs, contract adjustment clauses, cost reviews, etc. and coordinate project-specific hedging concepts with Head Office Treasury.

* Collect, analyze, prepare and comment, on a monthly basis, cash flow forecasts (project and entity).

* Prepares monthly and quarterly reporting: reporting for guarantees, hedging, treasury reporting (bank accounts, cash balances, external and internal loans, bank facilities, FX exposure, etc.)

* Ensure proper accounting of hedge derivatives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

* A high School diploma or equivalent is required

* Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is required

* Six years of experience in finance or accounting role for a major EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) company primarily in petrochemicals, oil & gas, mining, infrastructure or nuclear industry or similar construction industry

* Public accounting experience

* Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills high School diploma or equivalent is required

* Strong accounting skills

* Proficiency in working with spreadsheets (e.g. Excel, Google sheets)

* Good communication skills

* Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

* Ability to collaborate and manage a team
