Trade Planning Lead - Walmart Inc. Omni Channel OVERVIEW The Walmart team is seeking an entrepreneurial Trade Planning Lead to drive General Mills' e-commerce business at Walmart Inc (Walmart and Sam's Club). This role will offer the unique opportunity to work on omnichannel execution and strategic planning for the Walmart, Inc. zone. The Trade Planning Lead will join a fast-paced, ever-evolving and rapidly growing space, focused on supporting both Walmart and Sam's Club. As the TPL for the Omnichannel team, you will drive Walmart and Sam's holistic digital plan across General Mills. This role offers a truly differential opportunity to work on e-commerce strategy and execution by partnering with Sales teams and Walmart's Digital Acceleration Team while operating as the business expert across multiple cross-functional elements (Sales, ISM, Shopper Insights, E-Comm COE etc.) to drive differential omnichannel growth for General Mills. Strong candidates for this role will require strategic thought and be a self-starter who is highly organized and assertive to focus on storytelling to influence GMI's e-commerce strategies and initiatives. We are also seeking a candidate who will make an impact on our Walmart Business Center's team culture. This role is based in the WM Business Center in Rogers, AR and candidates are required to live within the area due to the regular meeting cadence with our customers. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: SELLING EXPERTISE & LEADERSHIP
- Develop and maintain effective customer relationships
- Understand customer needs and link them to General Mills product and service strategies to develop mutually beneficial business plans
- Influence customer e-commerce strategy and execution to drive differential omnichannel growth for General Mills
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to lead the development of multi-year omnichannel strategic growth plans
EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE
- Takes personal accountability and ownership for results, deeply understands consumers, delivers market-leading innovation and prioritizes what's important
- Develop and manage an integrated omnichannel approach to planning and execution across customer teams, and formalize the integration of omnichannel mindset and metrics into existing management routines
- Partner with the E-Commerce Capabilities team & Omni COE to integrate new capabilities and insights into the customer sales process
- Partner with ISM & Shopper Insights teams to build holistic media, search, display and content plans
PROBLEM SOLVING & ANALYTICS
- Leverage customer performance data and analytics to generate actionable insights, strategies, and business recommendations to accelerate customer e-commerce performance and competitiveness
- Understand and leverage omnichannel category management capabilities to drive GMI distribution growth and assortment optimization
- Leverage e-commerce capabilities, enterprise-wide problem-solving tools, and stakeholders to address business problems

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience in sales, account management, trade funding, category management or other relevant experience
- Successful demonstration of analytical skills using various data sources (e.g. Luminate, Nielsen, IRI, CPM, sales data)
- Must be proficient in software packages (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) & internal systems
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong decision-making and negotiation skills
- Experience working in matrixed/cross-functional organizations
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $79500.00 - $119400.00 / Annually. The salary range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, educations, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
