Summary:

In this role, you are the primary point of contact for supplier recruitment, retention, and strategic implementation throughout the musculoskeletal supplier market to drive enhanced value for the members and increased revenue across the integrated clinical preference business. You will create and build strong senior-level supplier relationships within the musculoskeletal space to drive utilization of Vizient's data, technology, and contract services. You will work alongside the leadership of a multidisciplinary team tasked with driving member value while aligning with suppliers to optimize the total cost of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and build strong, lasting trusted advisor relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including the C-Suite, within a supplier's organization.
  • Align Vizient's assets (data, resources, member networks, etc.) strategically to drive meaningful partnerships with musculoskeletal suppliers.
  • Align with key business leaders to execute on regular business reviews with aptitude and Vizient contracted vendors to ensure the delivery of optimal value to members and suppliers while maximizing revenue and profitability for Vizient.
  • Manage pipeline and revenue targets tied to existing and prospective suppliers within the musculoskeletal space.
  • Work with service line consultants to identify specific supplier opportunities /market messages designed to optimize the overall value proposition to the member.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree desired.
  • 7 or more years of relevant experience required.
  • Prior healthcare consulting, technology, and/or business development/sales experience, preferably in the life sciences space.
  • Ability to collaborate with and understand the needs of healthcare executives (suppliers & providers) and translate those needs into actionable results and plans.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills - both written and oral. Ability to develop, promote, and clearly communicate a vision.
  • Proven ability to manage and mentor team members, lead and influence cross-functional working groups, manage project teams, and achieve results.
  • Willingness to travel.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $135,200.00 to $236,600.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
