The Sr. Technologist I, Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of the Company's Network globally. The individual will be part of a team evaluating the Security and Wireless technologies which are to be deployed at our Worldwide offices. DURATION AND STATUS: This is a 6-month temporary assignment with the possibility of full-time employment in the future. LOCATION
Duties & Responsibilities
* Provide technical leadership in the enterprise infrastructure. * Troubleshoot outages, alarms, and performance issues throughout the organization. * Understand change control requirements to ensure compliance with the audit system. * Physical installation and troubleshooting of all IT equipment at remote locations. * Design, write and update system documentation and network diagrams. * Install, configure, and troubleshoot various network architectures. * Monitor and diagnose performance. * Lead continued improvement activities. * Design and implement solutions to maximize the functions of the equipment purchased. * Ability to travel domestically and overseas up to 30% of the year. Qualifications
REQUIRED * Minimum 7 years of experience working as a lead on Wireless and Security technologies. * Minimum 7 years of experience with Versa SD-WAN Technology and configurations. * Minimum 7 years of experience with standard project management practices. * Knowledge with configuring and troubleshooting GRE/IPSEC, DMVPN, Any Connect, Zscaler and SSL VPN, Cisco ASA, Palo, DMZ design, LAN, WAN and security best practices. * Must be able to Administer F5 Load Balancer and BIG-IP Appliance. * Must be able to interpret and derive conclusions from security logs. * Expert in Wireless design typically gained from past experiences including Cisco or Aruba. * Knowledge on Cisco ASR's, Nexus 7K, Catalyst 9K, 4K & 8K ISR, and Aruba switching product line. * Must be able to navigate and maintain Network Monitoring and Management tools such as SolarWinds, Cisco ISE, SilverPeak, EfficientIP & Smart Licensing. * Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident. DESIRED * Certifications preferred (such as security, routing & switching, and wireless). KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS * Ability to work as a SME in the design and troubleshooting the company's global wireless and security technologies. * Strong leadership and client focused communication skills to all levels. * Excellent written and oral communications skills. * Excellent troubleshooting skills. * Ability to work well in a team environment or individually. * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external customers.
