Information Systems Engineer I

Job Summary:

Mercury Systems is a leading technology company serving the global aerospace and defense industry with 20 locations. This is a great opportunity for a recent engineering college graduate who would like to start their career enabling the latest technologies in manufacturing including working on the latest cloud applications, IoT and AI. This position can be in either Andover, MA or Phoenix, AZ.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Supporting the implementation and maintenance of systems (ERP, MES systems) within the Applications team.
• Gathering business and functional requirements.
• Documenting workflows, business processes, develop reports etc.
• Preparing test plans & scripts and executing test cases.
• Conducting user training and developing training materials.
• Providing system support and troubleshooting.
• Exposer to any ERP systems / Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
• Providing hands-on functional and technical support. This includes, assisting in data and analytics.
• Constantly evaluating emerging technologies and recommends upgrades, enhancements, and replacements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar degree.
• The ideal candidate will have around 6+ months - one year of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, Java, Python, or similar programming language.
• Experience in using MS Teams, JIRA, Confluence, AWS, SaaS, Networks, Visual Studio
• Data analysis skills, including exploratory analysis, clean, organize, analyze to extract information, find trends/anomalies etc.
• Basic statistical and mathematical data manipulation knowledge
• Experience working with various computer OS (Windows/Linux/Unix) a plus.
• Ability to travel to different Mercury sites during systems implementation period.
• Candidate must be a US Citizen or a Permanent Resident.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Working well in a multi-disciplinary team environment
• Exposure to large, complex multidimensional data handling & AI modals a plus.
• Exposure to software development life cycle SDLC and source control management tools a plus.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information with sensitivity and utmost accuracy.

Location:

This position is hybrid in Andover, MA or in Phoenix, AZ.
