As an experienced network engineer specializing in Cisco wireless technology, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's Cisco wireless network infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT team members and stakeholders to ensure that the network meets the needs of the business and complies with relevant industry standards and regulations. In addition, you will work with the team on our DevOps efforts, ensuring that our network infrastructure is optimized for continuous delivery and deployment using Cisco-specific tools. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain the company's Cisco wireless network infrastructure, ensuring high levels of performance and reliability using tools such as Cisco 5520 and 9800 Wireless Controllers, and Cisco DNA Center Monitor and troubleshoot network issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimal downtime using tools such as Cisco DNA Center Assurance, Cisco Prime Infrastructure and SolarWinds Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications, including Cisco ISE, using tools such as Cisco DNA Center and Cisco ISE Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, including security and data protection requirements, using tools such as Cisco ISE Participate in the planning and implementation of new network projects, including upgrades and expansions, using tools such as Cisco DNA Center Conduct regular performance assessments and implement optimization strategies as needed using tools such as Cisco DNA Center and Cisco Prime Infrastructure Provide guidance and support to other IT team members on Cisco wireless network issues and foreign and anchor wireless topology Develop and implement automated deployment and testing processes for network infrastructure changes using tools such as Ansible and Terraform with Cisco integrations Identify and implement tools and processes to improve network infrastructure management and monitoring using Cisco-specific tools such as Cisco DNA Center, Cisco Prime Infrastructure, and SolarWinds with Cisco integrations Stay up-to-date with emerging wireless network technologies, DevOps practices, and industry trends, and make recommendations for future enhancements using Cisco resources such as Cisco DevNet and Cisco Communities Recruitment Fraud It has come to our attention various individuals and/or organizations are contacting people falsely pretending to recruit on behalf of Oxy.
