We are looking for a Director of Consulting and Training-Expert Partners in USA. Your mission will be to:
Position Summary:
This position is accountable for
directing the operations and delivery of consulting and training services for
clients. The position has direct P&L
accountability for the Consulting and training service lines in the NA Expert
Partners business unit and works with
other Expert Partners business units in the Merieux NutriSciences network on
global consulting and training projects. As part of the "Becoming a Full
Solution Provider" pillar, we intend to considerably expand Expert Partners to
capture increasing customer demands for higher-end services and long-term
partnerships such as Consulting, Training , Audit, Regulatory & Label compliance services. A Global Expert
Services Hub has been created to foster the development of these services. This
Hub is working as a knowledge center responsible for collecting and sharing
offers, expertise, materials, best practices and internal training. This
position collaborates with the EP HUB to share, learn and replicate some global
best practices.
Essential Functions and
Responsibilities
*Develops and manages revenue projections, annual budgets, and reviews of P & L, and other financial reports to ensure strong financial performance for the consulting and education groups.Plans contingencies necessary to meet financial targets.
*Directs all logistics to provide consulting and training services, including applicable administrative and financial actions.
*Works with clients and teams to develop technical services solutions to meet their requirements. The solutions often require customized approaches and out-of- the box thinking.
*Works with the Technical Services and other internal teams, plans strategies for business growth that align with industry needs and can result in both revenue and margin growth.
*Develop business plans to support the strategies, including both scope of services and resource capabilities.
*Develops, implements and maintains systems to ensure quick and reliable response to client inquiries and provide a level of service to the client that meets or exceeds their requirements.Develop metrics to measure performance and continuous improvement initiatives.
*Directs Technical Services personnel, including contractors, in all aspects of their job.Is accountable for recruiting and hiring plans, setting and meeting objectives and personnel development plans.
*Oversees the planning for human resources to ensure training to business and applicable technical systems, programs, and competencies.
*Manages the customer excellence and customer complaint processes and uses the metrics and data from these as basis for quality and process continuous improvements.
*Acts as a technical resource for clients for Technical Services.Ensures reports sent to clients are technically sound and meet the deliverables of the project.
*Works with Sales and marketing to market services to maintain revenue and margin targets.
*Maintains strong relationships with other Merieux NutriSciences business units to develop and support additional business for all of Merieux NutriSciences.
*Maintain expertise in food science, safety, training and related technologies through available scientific literature.
*Contributes to scientific and technical publications and presentations.Collaborates with scientific and trade associations to promote Merieux NutriSciences' visibility and service offerings.Attends meetings and conferences to support company and individual objectives.
*Develop, update and share centralized accurate and consistent technical training content that is easy to deliver to customers through online, public, and customized course formats
*Develop, maintain & make available the group catalog of training services and capabilities at the global level
*Collect and share knowledge on effective training methods, track global training capabilities and train the trainers
*Help in designing training services and capabilities offers for GKA (RFP incl. services, pricing, delivery model...) to meet their requirements; can participate in customer meetings and projects as needed
*Provide support to regional expert services leaders, marketing teams, country managers and sales teams to meet customer requests for global training services.
*Establish and track Key Performance Indicators (training, customer satisfaction, usage of content...etc) in order to provide reports and recommendations on training activities development
*Develop internal communication tools to ensure an efficient promotion of the hub at the global level
*Other related duties as assigned.

YOUR PROFILE
Knowledge:
This position requires an advanced knowledge of food science, technology, sanitation, safety and microbiology obtained from a M.S. degree or related scientific fields or equivalent experience to provide technical guidance and expertise to client and technical service personnel. Knowledge of the business disciplines of finance, budgeting, sales, and marketing practices are necessary to develop new business and maintain current customers successfully. Broad knowledge of training and instructional design obtained from formal education or relevant work experience. Strong personal computer skills in word processing, presentation graphics, database management, and spreadsheet applications are essential to prepare and update information and perform financial analysis, projections and planning. Strong planning and organizational skills are needed to effectively handle multiple tasks and assignments in a timely manner. Excellent communication skills are needed to provide accurate information in both a written and oral format. Customer relation skills are needed to obtain and provide information to the customer. Strong management skills, obtained from previous supervisory experience, are necessary to ensure that the departments run smoothly. As a Hub Expert, the incumbent must have strong transversal and influencing management skills, be fluent in English, at ease with International scope of work and coordination and have an appetite for structure and rigor.
Communication
*All Merieux NutriSciences NA departments at all levels. Will work in collaboration with the regional Expert Services Leaders, country experts, GKA team, Expert Services regional marketing managers and Sustainability consultants.
Multinational food
manufacturers, foodservice, and retail clients. Will be exposed to the external
network of experts on the market and our Customers/GKA when needed.

Physical Demands and Work
Environment
*The incumbent will work from their home with proper lighting and temperature control while not on assignment. Manual dexterity is essential to create work products on the computer. Travel may be required to assist with consulting services and to meet with clients.Travel levels will be less than 50%. The incumbent can expect extended time spent in a standing position.
Travel
*Frequent travel is required to client sites for consultations, tradeshows and training sessions.
Compensation Range:
$170,000 - $190,000 annual salary
Potential bonus: Up to 15% based on performance.
