Moog Inc. is hiring a Human Resources Business Partner - Commercial Aircraft Group.

You will work in partnership with the Commercial Aircraft Group (CAG) leadership team to achieve the overall global business objectives and initiatives. You will proactively identify, define and implement appropriate HR strategies to enable the business to increase performance. You will partner with the Strategic, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) in managing the people management agenda and successful delivery of new and existing HR initiatives. You will be a member of the business management team and contribute to strategy development, policies and decision making beyond HR issues. You will manage various Group HR initiatives, including talent reporting, analytics, and HR program coordination. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will report directly to the Commercial Aircraft Group Strategic HRBP in East Aurora, New York.

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will:

  • Develop strong customer relationships with the CAG leadership team and provide effective, value-added support that is focused on enabling business performance. Understand the strategic business objectives and contribute to the creation, execution and ongoing development and delivery of that strategy.

  • Develop, own, and implement an HR strategy that drives employee engagement and retention and supports the delivery of the overall business strategy. Continually challenge the status quo and introduce new processes/practices or amend current ways of working to aid delivery of business strategy and help the business be financially successful and hit corporate objectives.

  • Provide leadership and expertise in organizational development, organizational design and change management. Continuously review the organization effectiveness and identify / implement changes needed to ensure the organization is set up to succeed.

  • Take ownership and lead the roll out (& subsequent actions) of critical talent management tasks such as the talent identification process (talent matrix / talent profile), performance management process and succession planning process. Own the talent pool and ensure that the talent pipeline and bench strength is continuously improved to meet future business needs.

  • Engender a best practice approach to people management, acting as coach, facilitator, and role model. Function as the guardian of the Moog Culture and Philosophy.

  • Take ownership and proactively manage and control employee metrics and ensure that data integrity standards are upheld.

  • Take ownership of the successful delivery and implementation of 'business as usual' activities. Lead Group wide or Moog wide projects that may have a global impact or participate in a significant Group wide or Moog wide project representing either HR or their business unit.

  • Collaborate and work in partnership with other HR areas in the development and continual improvement of policies, processes, and initiatives. Be the voice of the business with respect to other parts of HR.

  • Recognize, understand, and assess complex organizational issues and make strategic recommendations for improvement.

  • Quickly and effectively build collaborative working relationships with business leaders and with the other members of the wider HR team.

To be considered for the Human Resources Business Partner role, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree in the field of HR, Business, Communication or a relevant field and a minimum of seven (7) years of progressive experience in a similar role within Human Resources or relevant work experience, ideally in a matrix environment.

  • Proven experience of advising and influencing Management in both business and people related decisions.

  • Proven specific capabilities in outstanding communication and interpersonal skills; analytical and problem-solving skills; organizational ability.

  • Proven ability to build relationships, showcasing influencing skills; presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to understand and advise on complex organizational issues and people strategy in matrix environment

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $95,000.00-$145,000.00 Annually

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
