M-F 8:30-5:00pm with occasional evening and weekend responsibilities. Ferry departs at 8:30 am with no later option for getting to work. If you miss the ferry, you will not be able to work that day.
UGAMI pays for the ferry fee. |

Duties/Responsibilities
Duties/Responsibilities |
- Cleans dormitories, visitor quarters, offices, laboratories, and classrooms. Cleans bedrooms, living rooms, baths, kitchens, etc.
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, buffs, and waxes floors. Washes windows, walls, trash cans, glass doors; empties trash; sweeps outside walks; frequently works from chair or ladder.
- Cleans restrooms and replenishes supplies; cleans drinking fountains.
- Runs polishing machine and vacuum cleaner.
- Moves office and residence hall furniture and equipment.
- Replaces light bulbs, cleans and polishes brass, and unstops lavatories and toilets.
- Reports damaged structures and equipment.

- Assists in food preparation for various groups. Prepares a wide variety of meals and operates standard cooking equipment such as mixing machines, steam cookers, toasters, food choppers, refrigerators, baking ovens, and stoves.
- Cleans during food preparation and after meal is over.
- Maintains ServSafe food handler certification.
- Performs related work as required.
