Summary

The Senior Business Analyst (BA), EDI is in charge of overall integration projects for customers, from the initial analysis, through all CINTO projects steps to the hypercare. They manage the scope, quality and makes sure the solution is delivered by the required date.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Effectively executing complex integrations or major projects in EDI according to its schedule and budget.

* Analyzing DSV customers' requirements and prepare technical specifications.

* Analyze and estimate the work effort to implement new solutions.

* Creation or modification of complex interfaces based on existing standard solutions, ensuring high quality using test scenarios.

* Creating detailed specifications and documentation based on existing operational procedures.

* Maintain timely, efficient and proactive stakeholder communication regarding the daily tasks and projects.

* Support business and the organization to identify any possible cooperation with the EDI department.

* Help and support other team members to achieve their potential within the department.

* Compliance with internal regulations, procedures, law and managers orders, including labor regulations, regulations on remuneration and other internal regulations in the company, including company's intellectual property protection.

* Behaviors and attitudes consistent with the values of the organization.

* Professional skills development by participation in training and constant self-education.

Requirements Analysis and Specification Build

* Assist in a pre-sales phase as needed.

* Gathers customer/business requirements and needs,

* Analysis obtained requirements to design suitable solution.

* Consult non-standard requirement with Developer.

* Create the map specification (using GEFEG.fx)

* Follows standard guidelines and practises.

* Document the work done according to the agreed format/way.

* Coordinates with other IT teams if it's required.

Development, Quality and Testing

* Manage changes in the scope, re-estimate and re-plan work if needed.

* Support developer in communication with business requestor.

* Carry out Product Tests to make sure the solution works as designed.

* Oversees the UAT process.

* Coordinate the deployment into production.

Hypercare

* Help to understand or provide guidance for Hypercare process.

* Support troubleshooting if it's requested by EDI Support (Silver Hypercare), take ownership of troubleshooting (Platinum Hypercare).

General and Time

* Track project progress against planned dates

* Maintain timely, efficient and proactive stakeholder communication regarding the daily tasks and projects.

Priority, Escalations

* Escalates encountered issues to Team Lead and CINTO.

* Escalates priority conflicts to Team Lead and CINTO.

Educational background / Work experience

* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or related field.

* 5+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, or a related field.

* Experience in the transportation and logistics industry is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

* Extensive expertise in EDI standards, particularly UN/EDIFACT and ANSI-X12, demonstrating the ability to navigate complex EDI landscapes.

* In-depth knowledge of communication protocols critical to EDI processes, including FTP, SFTP, and AS2, with proven hands-on implementation experience.

* Significant experience working in multicultural, self-organized teams, showcasing leadership and adaptability in diverse environments.

* Advanced proficiency in XML, XPATH, and SQL, with the ability to manage and troubleshoot complex data flows.

* Comprehensive understanding of EDI transactions within Transport.

* Strong analytical thinking and exceptional communication skills, enabling effective problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration.

Required Skills

* Vast knowledge of EDI Standards (EDIFACT or ANSI X12).

* Vast knowledge of XML.

* Vast Experience implementing IT projects with Agile methods.

* Knowledge of communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, AS2 or HTTP.

* Communicativeness and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or related field.

* Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).

Language skills

* Fluent in English (oral and written)

Computer Literacy

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

* Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, and Tableau.

For this position, the expected base pay is: $64,000- $86,000 / Annual. Actual base compensation will be determined based on various factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
