Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of adolescents and young adults? Do you have a knack for building relationships and fostering trust within your community? If so, Newport Healthcare is looking for a dedicated Community Relations Specialist to join our team and help us expand our impact in behavioral healthcare! About the Role: As a Community Relations Specialist, you will be a vital resource for adolescent and young adult behavioral healthcare in your targeted communities. You will collaborate with our outpatient team to provide exceptional care coordination, ensuring that clients and families receive the support they need. Your role will involve identifying market strategies, partnering with local providers, and enhancing Newport Healthcare's brand within the community. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Development: Work with your supervisor to develop and execute 6-month and annual performance objectives for your target market, participating in field rides with the Senior Director of Clinical Outreach. Community Engagement: Conduct face-to-face meetings with outpatient-specific community professionals to uncover needs, address barriers to treatment, and establish key relationships through community partnerships. Territory Management: Plan and execute territory routing within a 60-mile radius of Newport Healthcare's outpatient programming, attending conferences and networking events to represent our Outpatient Service Line. Facility Tours & Events: Organize and attend facility tours and events for community professionals in your targeted geography, showcasing our commitment to quality care. Collaboration & Meetings: Attend outpatient staff meetings on-site at designated intervals to stay connected with the team. Presentations & Surveys: Plan, customize, and execute presentations for targeted community audiences, and perform Referent Satisfaction Surveys specific to outpatient locations. Responsive Support: Respond immediately to service and referral inquiries, providing support to referring professionals and families from the first call through admission. Documentation: Document meaningful activities related to community referents and families in the Salesforce database to ensure accurate tracking and follow-up. Team Participation: Attend and participate in national calls and weekly team meetings with the Clinical Outreach Team to stay aligned with organizational goals. Expense Management: Manage expenses and company credit card tasks as designated by your supervisor or administrator. Qualifications:

Qualifications What You'll Bring: Educational Qualifications: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a closely related field OR a minimum of one (1) year of direct experience in a behavioral health setting or service sales. Communication Expertise: Experience with communication principles, practices, and techniques applicable to a healthcare environment is preferred. Customer-Centric Skills: Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on enhancing the customer experience. Team Collaboration: A willingness to be part of a local/national team of outreach professionals dedicated to improving client experiences and fostering Newport Healthcare's professional referent growth. Territory Commitment: Ability to reside in or be in close proximity to your designated territory to ensure regular visits to assigned locations without incurring excessive commute time or expenses. Territory Responsibilities: As a Community Relations Specialist, you will be entrusted with managing a designated territory. To effectively cover your assigned area, it is essential that you reside in or near this territory. This proximity allows you to regularly visit assigned locations without incurring excessive commute times or expenses, ensuring you can engage with the community promptly and consistently. Regular travel throughout your territory is a key requirement of this role. Please note that permission for relocation outside of your assigned metropolitan area will generally not be granted, except in exceptional circumstances. If you do consider moving, you must obtain written approval from your direct supervisor to ensure continued alignment with your responsibilities.
