The Analyst Financial Services 4 for the Strategic Analysis & Implementation Department is responsible for conducting thorough financial analysis for new business opportunities, including acquisitions, prepaid purchase deals, and grants. This role involves creating and updating existing financial models and sharing results with senior leadership to demonstrate a clear understanding of the financial impacts of business opportunities. The Analyst 4 will also monitor economic trends and provides leadership with frequent updates on economic data and relevant market and industry news. Proficiency in using the company's technology platform for financial tracking and management reporting is essential, along with expertise in evaluating the economic viability of projects such as return on investment, net present value, IRR, etc. that are used during due diligence processes. Effective collaboration and communication across business units are crucial for success in this role. Additionally, the Analyst 4 assists in onboarding enterprise functions within Financial Services according to project schedules and contributes to the development and implementation of strategies that align with broader company goals. This position requires strong analytical skills, experience in financial modeling, and a solid understanding and / or interest in financial markets and industry trends. Tasks and Responsibilities
Conduct detailed financial analysis for new business pursuits such as power plant acquisitions, prepaid purchase power deals, grants, and state or federal programs. Collaborates effectively across all enterprise business units, ensuring clear communication of financial insights. Minimum Skills Minimum Knowledge and Abilities
Extensive experience as an accountant/analyst or in a related field.
Knowledge of accounting/analyst experience in a field supporting and providing financial and operational solutions.
Relative experiences in financial/project management for Operational Units.
Solid understanding of financial principles, financial statements and associated processes and tools.
Initiative to work independently or as a member of a team, coordinating with others to achieve desired results.
Experience working with moderately complex data.
High level of accuracy of work and attention to detail, to include the ability to perform precise mathematical calculations.
Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of a particular field of specialization to complete complex assignments.
Ability to multi-task various critical work assignments in a fast-paced environment in a professional manner.
Ability to effectively manage sensitive and confidential information.
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills for interaction with all levels of personnel.

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with concentration in Finance, Accounting, Auditing or related field from an accredited university. Required Certifications Working Environment
