Description Maine Medical Center Management/Leadership MaineHealth is currently seeking a Director of Nursing (RN) to join the Electrophysiology (EP) and Cardiac Catheterization (Cath) Lab at our Maine Medical Center - Portland Campus. The Director of the Cath lab is the vital link between the mission and vision of Maine Medical Center and the delivery of safe patient and family centered care that is compassionate, evidence-based, and provides highest quality care. Reporting through the Chief Operations Officer, this role requires Dyad relationships with the EP and Cath Lab Medical Directors, and partnership with physicians, senior administration, directors and other professional colleagues to meet the diverse and continually changing challenges of the health care environment. The Director, Cardiac Cath Services must be a creative, autonomous, future-oriented, risk-taking entrepreneur who applies nursing expertise, critical thinking, and effective leadership and management skills to ensure that quality care is provided through satisfied and inspired professionals within the Cath Lab. The campus features a world-class teaching hospital and level 1 trauma center and is home to the state of the art 300,000-square-foot Malone Family Tower which provides cardiac and cardiovascular care in the region with flexible spaces that promote collaboration and innovation among members of MMC's nationally recognized cardiovascular care team.
