About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sr. Manager, Marketing Technology, to lead the implementation, optimization, and support of our marketing technology stack. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our marketing team has the tools and technologies they need to achieve their goals. You will work closely with the Marketing Operations team and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between systems, efficient campaign tracking, and optimal technology utilization. Leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills, you will guide a dedicated team of technology experts to bring these solutions to life. Responsibilities:
- Marketing Technology Stack Management:
- Implement and maintain marketing technologies such as Google Analytics, MMPs, marketing automation tools, and CDP platforms.
- Oversee the integration and utilization of marketing tools, ensuring data integrity and system compatibility.
- Evaluate and select new marketing technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness and ROI.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to the marketing technology stack.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with the Marketing Operations team to ensure seamless data flow and integration between systems.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand their technology needs and provide ongoing support.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for the marketing stack.
- Process Improvement:
- Continuously assess and refine processes related to the implementation and management of marketing technologies.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the marketing stack remains current and competitive.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in a marketing technology or related role, preferably within a tech-driven or app-focused environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical expertise in Google Analytics, MMPs like Kochava or AppsFlyer, and customer engagement platforms like Iterable and Blaze.
- Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools and CDP platforms.
- Proficiency in campaign tracking methodologies, including UTM tagging, attribution models, and funnel analysis.
- Proficiency in reporting and analytics platforms like Tableau and ThoughtSpot
- Ability to analyze complex challenges, identify root causes, and develop creative solutions that meet business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.
- Experience managing complex technical projects, with a focus on Agile methodologies, stakeholder communication, and risk management.
- Experience with Agile methodologies, project management tools (Jira), and collaboration platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to various stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Preferred:
- Experience in a mobile app-centric marketing environment.
- Experience with Marketing Automation Platforms and email marketing/campaign tools.
- Experience with Digital Ad Platforms.
- Experience with modern A/B testing tools.
- Certifications in relevant marketing tools are advantageous.
