Plant Production Supervisor for its
Whitesville Mill Services location in
Crawfordsville, IN. The Plant Production Supervisor is responsible for day-to-day operations of the slag plant and other processing plants.

Responsibilities The Plant Production Supervisor will:
- Supports safety and environmental initiatives including employee safety engagement, regulatory compliance and related training
- Develops plant schedule for the purpose of meeting production objectives
- Monitors product specifications for commercial and state applications
- Ensures that plant capacity is maintained and production KPIs are being met
- Develops, supports and coordinates operations personnel
- Assigns and schedules work
- Ensures that tools and resources are available to personnel
- Coordinates teams to identify process improvements
- Ensures plant availability and capacity by coordinating maintenance activities with the Maintenance Manager
- Develops and maintains relationships with mill management, vendors and operations management
- Reviews and approves timecards
- Audits processes and inspects work as necessary
- Runs KPI reports, analyzes data and utilizes information for better decision-making
- Monitors Slag plant operation and Maintenance
- Ensures Mobile plant operation and Maintenance
- Handles Scrap reclamation and drop ball crane operations
- Monitors B scrap production
- Coating complex material needs for the next 2 years
- Provides reporting and recordkeeping as required
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills The ideal candidate will have:
- Some college or degree preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience in industrial or construction environment
- Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations and ability to implement related programs and controls
- Ability to understand financial data
- Supervisory experience
- Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Valid driver's license
