During this period, additional responsibilities may be assigned to address specific business needs.
Sales
- Collaborate with PM and Service Project Sales to ensure alignment with operational objectives.
Communication
- Respond promptly to emails and phone calls from internal and external stakeholders.
- Address customer billing issues professionally and draft formal correspondence as required.
- Maintain clear communication with teammates and departments daily to ensure smooth operations.
Operations
- Monitor and exceed the Service Department's planned gross profit and adhere to Call Center budgets.
- Continuously evaluate and adjust burden rates and operational plans as needed.
- Ensure the effective implementation and improvement of service life cycles, including scheduling and planning systems.
- Support Sales Team and customers during the startup of new PM Agreements, ensuring special requirements (safety, access, hours, etc.) are met.
- Supervise the setup of new PM and Service Project Agreements, including tasking and scheduling.
- Oversee manpower scheduling and procurement of materials.
- Manage Service Department functions, vehicle management, GPS, shop inventory, uniforms, and answering services.
- Review invoices, accounts receivable, and work orders for accuracy.
- Analyze and act on deep-dive operational reports.
Managerial Teamwork
- Maintain effective Service Department operations and processes during the interim period.
- Work closely with the Call Center Supervisor to manage open service orders and call center operations
- Lead the team in resolving conflicts, fostering teamwork, and improving operational and call center processes.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely resource allocation.
- Provide timely and accurate updates to senior leadership.
Leadership
- Identify and implement opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies.
- Actively engage with Service Leadership to maintain alignment with company objectives.
- Uphold the company's operating principles and leadership standards.
- Support training and development activities to sustain team performance and morale during the interim period.
- Provide effective leadership, feedback, and direction to team members, ensuring professional growth and adherence to company expectations.
Position Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HVAC, Electrical Service, or a similar field, with a strong operational and managerial background.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage teams and operations effectively during transitional periods.
- Proficiency in resource allocation, customer service, and financial oversight.
- Able to satisfactorily pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Able to meet P1 Servicequalifications to operate a vehicle on company business. Must be able to satisfactorily pass a motor vehicle record check. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must have access to drive a well maintained vehicle. Must have up to date registration with the local Department of Motor Vehicles.
