Position Summary
The position is based at the Terry Executive Education Center (TEEC) in Atlanta, located at 3475 Lenox Rd NE, Suite 300, Atlanta, GA 30326.

The Terry College of Business location in Buckhead Atlanta is hiring for an entry level Audiovisual Technical Professional to assist with a variety of tasks throughout the Terry Executive Education Center ( TEEC). This individual will demonstrate strong communication skills and provide excellent customer service. Due to the nature of the work, this employee is expected to be onsite at the TEEC during working hours. Work hours will be coordinated with a peer IT Professional, a Facilities professional and a supervisor to meet the needs of the TEEC. Hours will be flexible during the week. Weekend hours are standardized.

Duties/Responsibilities


Duties/Responsibilities

  • Monitoring of assigned classrooms, maintenance, troubleshooting, quick response and answer time to quick response to classroom problems and end-user training.
  • Assist faculty and staff with first tier computer support as well as classroom audio/visual equipment. This usually involves troubleshooting and solving basic technical problems with the presentation equipment, and helping presenters better understand how to use the technology in the classroom.
  • Light IT support may include creating support tickets and assisting presenters with interfacing mobile devices with classroom equipment.
  • Complete daily walkthroughs and equipment testing to ensure classroom functionality.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Assist with class and event preparation and checkout of AV equipment.
  • Maintain and keep accurate record of equipment logs and checkout systems.
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while performing routine tasks needed.
  • Restock supplies in classrooms and team rooms, and some minor equipment maintenance.
  • Ensures needs for TEEC classroom and event spaces are met by physical set-up of microphones, lavaliers, podiums, furniture, drink stations, signs, and other related materials as assigned or directed; provides on-site assistance to event attendees as needed.
  • Occasionally assist faculty members with setup of classroom Zoom equipment for virtual lectures and meetings.

  • Assist TEEC patrons with tier one computer support for presentation systems in classrooms/team rooms/conference rooms.
  • Assists with support of operation of Studio 4.
  • Assist students and users with recording equipment and instruction of equipment usage.
