About the Opportunity

At NewCo, we're constantly reimagining what's possible in our industry-creating disruptively simple, powerfully clear ways to maximize our clients' financial outcomes today and drive down healthcare costs tomorrow. As part of the Right Payer Solutions team, as a Staff Accountant, you will support complete and accurate financial reporting. This is a hands-on role that will manage fixed assets, intangible assets, and certain assets and accrued liability accounts.

What you'll do



  • Gather and organize documentation to complete monthly reconciliations.
  • Prepare month-end accrual adjustments and ensure accurate and timely financial close processes.
  • Assist in preparing accurate and complete financial statements for review by senior management.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end close accounting activities including quarterly reporting schedules, fluctuation analysis, and coordination/preparation of executive presentations.
  • Guide payroll processes, including reporting, compliance, and integration with accounting systems.
  • Manage the fixed asset ledger and record monthly depreciation expense.
  • Manage the intangible asset ledger and calculate and record monthly amortization expense.
  • Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to support the annual audit.
  • Partner with the accounting and finance teams to complete ad hoc requests.

What experience you bring (Role Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 1 + years of Accounting, Finance, or related work experience.


  • CPA Certification or country equivalent.
  • 1+ year of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director level and above).
  • Experience working with Sage Intacct
  • Experience working across geographies and time zones.

This is an exempt position. The salary range is for Base Salary.Compensation will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, skill set, years of experience, and the employee's geographic location.
