Sanitation Lead

As a Sanitation Lead, you will oversee the sanitation team to ensure all work areas and equipment meet the highest cleanliness and food safety standards. Under the supervision of the Sanitation Supervisor, you will be responsible for maintaining compliance with GMPs, HACCP policies, and food safety regulations, while ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Accountabilities:

• Ensures that our products meet the company's standards and specifications
• Complete, legible and accurate documentation
• Must understand and follow all company Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
• Food Safety and Quality Standard Requirements are being maintained daily
• Must understand and comply with the company Allergen, Food Defense and HACCP policies
• Must communicate with Supervision of any Food Safety and Equipment concerns
• Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for the area worked
• Work with Supervision and maintenance to maintain equipment in good working condition
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as necessary for task at hand
• Must comply with all safety policies and procedures at all times
• Report any unsafe work practices or injuries to your supervisor
• Required to maintain a safe and clean work environment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED is required.College degree or courses toward 5 years of food production experience is preferred
• 3 years of food preparation experience and 1 year minimum of supervisory experience
• Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred

Hourly Range: $21.00 - $25.00
