Essential Job Functions |
The Athletics program at Appalachian State University operates on the premises that intercollegiate athletics is an integral part of the institution's overall program of education. Priority is given to high standards of both academic and athletic quality - the goal being the complete development of the student-athlete.
This position provides advanced administrative support for the Director of Athletics, Senior Athletics Administrators, and Athletics Business Office. In addition to general administrative duties, this position is responsible for managing calendars, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, processing travel and other reimbursements, submitting involves for payment, ordering office supplies and other clerical duties. This position also assists with employment processes for department: Including non-student temporaries and student temporaries hiring forms, and assists with the onboarding process for the department. Other duties as assigned. |

Schedules and coordinates appointments, meetings and events.
Office Technology: Selects, understands and fully applies features of a variety of software programs, machines or office equipment that will produce the desired results.
Work Coordination: Plans and facilitates the support activities of an office or work unit; coordinates with others to complete tasks. May serve as an office coordinator for a work unit. |
