TEKsystems has a need for a Cable Tech / Data Center Technician to work a NIGHT SHIFT capacity. This would be a contract to start with potential of converting fulltime. HOURS: 9:30 PM to 5:30 AM Sunday through Thursday (5 nights) MUST HAVE basic data center skills such as cabling/rack/stack/layer 1 troubleshooting. Must be detail oriented and able to work alone. JOB DUTIES: * Navigate a data center (row/aisle/rack/equipment) * Identify ports/equipment * Use labeling printers * Detail oriented * Install patch cords based on spreadsheets (to/from) * Run/install cabling with best data center standards (need/maintain bend radius/etc) * Use of test equipment when required a plus (Fluke) * Must be able to work individually as well as report directly to customer management _______________________________________________ We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
