Process Operator Lead (Night Shift)

The Role:

Entegris is seeking a Nightshift Lead Process Operator to help lead its high-volume manufacturing operation. This position will require strong leadership and technical skills to ensure safe and efficient daily operations on the factory floor. The lead operator will work hands-on, train, and develop the manufacturing team and operate with a strong operational discipline. The Lead will report to the Supervisor of Manufacturing Operations which is located in our chemical manufacturing facility in the beautiful hill country town of Burnet, TX.

In this role you will:

• Collaborate and support supervisor and manager direction, providing assistance and focus to the floor level;

• Work with operators to drive efficiency and operational discipline in all daily tasks;

• Help monitor and track inventory levels, process downtime, and management of change;

• Lead from the front in safety practices and help foster a team-orientated safety and quality-first culture;

• Provide assistance and direction where needed for the team. Work with engineering, quality and planning teams for troubleshooting, problem solving, and continuous improvement;

• Help Supervisor ensure department is successfully performing to department and site metrics;

• Point of contact for factory ERT responses and employee incidents and escalations;

• Help mitigate nightshift work stoppages.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in a technical area of study or equivalent work experience;

• 8+ years manufacturing or operations experience; previous leadership experience preferred;

• Chemical, gas or semiconductor experience strongly preferred;

• Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office applications (SAP experience is a plus);

• Strong leadership skills, self-motivated and proactive;

• Familiarity with ISO 9000/14000 and OHSAS 18000 environments;

• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
