CONMED is seeking an R&D Engineering Intern to join our R&D Sports Medicine team in Summer 2025. The R&D Sports Medicine group is dedicated to innovating and improving procedural solutions for Hip, Knee, Shoulder, and Extremities surgeons. Developing safe, simple-to-use, and effective products helps patients return to their normal everyday lives. As an intern, you will support project teams by completing hands-on development and prototyping, while applying good documentation practices. You will have opportunities to develop test methods that analyze failure modes of your designs, while challenging your prototype's functionality in cadaveric settings. Through collaboration with your engineering design team, surgeons, machinists, and the quality team, this internship will develop your engineering skills and principles focused on product development and design improvements. This position is not eligible for employer-visa sponsorship. As a CONMED intern, you will receive competitive compensation and holiday pay. Disclosure as required by applicable law, the hourly pay rate for this position is $19.75 to $32.25. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level. The salary range is CONMED's good faith belief at the time of this posting.
