Position Purpose:
As a member of our Treasury team, you will be responsible for supervising and executing treasury functions including bank relationship, projects, working capital, investment, risk management and treasury operations management. You will supervise a staff of eight who support working capital and investment/borrowing functions. You will assist in meeting overall finance department's policies and regulatory requirements.

Logistics:

This is a full-time position (40-hours/week) Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with overtime as needed, working on-site at 4101 Percival Rd. Columbia SC, in an office environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Oversees daily working capital management (i.e. accounts receivable, banking, investments, etc.). Supervises and reviews all aspects of cash position and cash forecasting, including risk management pertaining to Treasury operations. Manages internal investments and oversees externally managed investments to include investment policy compliance and maintenance. Assists with risk management controls and project administration efforts.
  • Manages financial institution and vendor relationships and recommends contracted pricing terms and services. Develops and implements operational cash management strategies. Evaluates and recommends treasury technology enhancement strategies to include Treasury workstations and advanced payment alternatives.
  • Provides regular and ad-hoc reporting to management in support of working capital, cash forecasting and investment functions. Develops financial models in support of benchmarking metrics and enhanced analytics such as with compliance and risk.
  • Responsible for training and development of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, and interpreting/ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

To Qualify for This Position, You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or other job related area.
  • 5 years of job related financial work experience.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of cash operations, cash/bank management and systems, and overall Treasury and related accounting and external reporting functions.
  • Solid understanding of financial analysis and statistics.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Well developed organizational skills.
  • Good interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal) and presentation skills.
  • Excellent and demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Microsoft Office. Ability to use data retrieval applications.

We Prefer You Have:

  • Access and Excel working knowledge to include (queries, building databases, etc.)
  • At least one year of people management, team lead, or supervisory experience.
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to learn new systems
