Position Summary:

The Bimbo Bakeries USA Data Governance internship is a remarkable experience to participate in fast-paced real-world projects designed to further develop strategic project management, analytical problem solving, and cross functional collaboration. Mentors will be designated to guide student collaborations and project work in each area. Students will be exposed to a variety of functional areas such as manufacturing, operations, and analytics while earning college credits in various locations nationwide.

The Data Governance Intern will support the North America Master Data Management Office for ongoing data management strategy. They will provide support, documentation, and research that will optimize data quality and reliability for our portfolio of products.#LI-JS1

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Document systems enabled business processes focused on master data quality
• Understand and recommend improvement of current state data hierarchy structures
• Develop presentations that clearly explain complex concepts to non-technology professionals
• Analyze data from disparate systems and sources
• Document BI frameworks for successful deployment into the business functions

• Have a process and systems focused view to solving complex problems
• Individual must be able to work independently after an agreed upon scope of work is defined
• Have a basic understanding of systems enabled business processes
• Proactive communication and comfort working with individuals outside of IT (Front-line to Executive level associates)
• Detail oriented and execution driven

Education and Work History:

• Currently seeking a bachelor's degree in business, Library Science, Information Technology, Data, or Information Management
