We are currently seeking to fill our Associate Professor/Professor position at the Philadelphia campus with a highly qualified and passionate individual.

Department: Clinical Psychology
FLSA: Exempt (Part-Time, 20 hours)
Location: Philadelphia, PA
POSITION SUMMARY
The Department of Clinical Psychology in the School of Professional and Applied Psychology at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) is seeking a doctoral level licensed psychologist with knowledge about cognitive behavioral theory/therapy for a half-time (20 hours/week, 12 month) position, entering at the Associate Professor/Professor level. This position is already funded.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
* Teaching in the APA-Accredited Psy.D. Program in Clinical Psychology, including possible courses in psychopathology, practicum seminars, dissertation development seminars, and electives in area of specialty: teaching of psychology, sleep medicine, etc.
* Mentoring dissertations, clinical supervision, advising students, developing a research program with students, participating in the admissions/interview process.
* Scholarly activity in areas of specialty.
* Participation in program, school, and university committee work.
* Other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education
* PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology, and a planned program of scholarly activity are required.
* Candidate must be licensed as a clinical psychologist in Pennsylvania.
Skills and Abilities
* Candidate must have a thorough understanding and commitment to teaching students being trained in a practitioner-scholar model.
* Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated successful teaching and mentoring experience in a graduate program.

The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
