The Sales Connectivity Specialist will oversee the discovery, implementation, and deployment of our client facing connectivity solutions with a focus on Digital Pathology. Acting Connectivity subject matter expert responsible for driving alignment between Commercial, Operations, Third Party Vendors and Clientele.

The senior business liaison and focal point to the customers of Commercial to ensure quality delivery of connectivity to customers. This position has immediate and direct impact on customer satisfaction and alignment of regional growth and attrition targets. Responsibilities include the alignment of business and Information Technology goals, and coordination of Information Technology resources to meet these objectives. The challenge is to manage cross-functional issues and deliverables by effectively setting priorities and directing resources that are not managed by this position. This requires a strong individual with an extensive background of the AmeriPath/Quest Diagnostics IT connectivity suite as well as excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

Have a thorough understanding of the Oncology Franchise, both regionally & nationally.

  • Drive and support Electronic Connectivity Solutions within Region.
  • Support the Commercial Sales Force and Sales Directors in navigating installations of Connectivity Solutions, both internally within the organization, as well as with our referring physicians.
  • Drive the adoption of our connectivity solutions suite to include Digital Pathology, LIS, IMS, EMR Interface implementation and support, Quanum Orders and Results, and appropriate hardware deployment through assistance, education and guidance of the regions Commercial Sales Force and Sales Directors.

Train clients and the Commercial Sales force on our Digital Pathology offerings and internal/external Orders/Results software applications

  • Will work with respective Sales Directors toprioritize regional projects while engaging Laboratory Operations, IT, referring physicians and office staff, to ensure the smooth implementation of each solution.
  • Expectations of up to 25% travel within the various Regions required.
  • Available for escalation of support issues and work with internal parties to ensure client satisfaction.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

Preferred Work Experience:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

  • Knowledgeable in all areas of IT Connectivity and support. Knowledge includes, but is not limited to, Digital Pathology, Quanum, IMS/LIS/EMR products, and Help Desk support.
  • Knowledge of laboratory processes and procedures.
  • Ability to effectively interact with all levels of management and customers.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional, matrixed environments.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects.
  • Experience with multiple technologies and products across various platforms relevant to customer connectivity.
  • Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management and customers.
