Description We are searching for a Level 2 Desktop Support Technician in Waukegan. As a Level 2 Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving software and hardware incidents, tasks, and requests escalated through service management software. This includes, but is not limited to, operating systems (Windows and Mac), mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and a range of software applications. Key Responsibilities: * Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, tasks, and requests escalated through service management software. * Ensure completion of all assigned work and maintain proper communication with clients, meeting service level agreements, customer satisfaction, and service demands. * Perform programming and related administrative tasks for managed printers. * Conduct hands-on physical repair of laptops. * Comply with all company training, legal, and ethical requirements. Skills and Qualifications: * Ability to be certified in Dell and HP hardware repairs. * Strong customer service orientation. * Adaptive, flexible, and possess good problem-solving skills. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. * Experience with desktop break/fix and computer hardware services, including break/fix laptops. * Experience with managed print services, including remote printer programming. Experience and Education: * 2-4 years of relevant experience. Top Skills Required: * Certification in Dell and HP hardware repairs. * Strong customer service orientation. * Adaptability and flexibility. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. * Strong problem-solving skills. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
